Now I'm getting more curious about some of Mother's stuff I received after she passed in late 1991 since finding this website.
Here's another item that's part of a pair of lamps. The other was a table lamp made of the same material, styled with the same "vine" pattern, and had a red cloth lamp shade with whitish tassels around its edging. Sadly, the table lamp met its untimely demise during the early to mid-1960s when I accidently bumped it off the table stand while playing with my basketball. Tried to hide the damage with lots & lots of clear scotch tape.. silly me. Thankfully Mom wasn't too harsh on me.
So, this item hung in Mom's house on the living room wall for a long long time. Then I acquired it, stored it during the remainder of my military service, then regional truck driving until 2002 and finally came out for debut on my house wall.
Just need to find a small battery powered replacement lamp so its light will shine once more.
I've tried to find information for this wall lamp online but found nothing yet.
Maybe I'm using the wrong wording/phrasing.
Is it possible that "stnola" is short for "St Nola"?? Yet I've tried that and nothing.
Material seems to be of a plaster type, hand painted with brown & black colors.
Haven't attempted to remove the light socket/switch yet, only cut the wire end.
Hopefully someone here can help me find more information.
