I have long been a fan of Kralik rose bowls. I hadn't bought any recently but then I saw this bluish one. I nearly passed but then I noticed that the glass isn't the commonly seen opaque pearlescent glass often called Mother of Pearl. This iridescent glass is translucent and has striations. not really stripes but not a solid colour either. Then I discovered I had two more.... and a new sub section! The last image is without the frogs to allow more light to better disclose the striations, hopefully.

Gotta love a new sub section! Especially when it's as beautiful as these.
That subtle greyish blue is so soft and gorgeous.

Oh, this is SO nice!
The bluish shade is actually more reminiscent of the nacreous interiors of real shells, especially abalone shells.
The pink one is also a stunner!
