This is a nifty little set so full of stuff it will take at least two posts for all of it. Didn't have time to set up all the army men tonight so will go with this. There are a few other pieces not pictured also.
To start off Aurora was not Tamiya so close enough is good enough. The quality of their monster kits though was quite high, military kits not so much. This set seems to be a cross between toy and model. Now for our featured pieces.
Photo #2 is a landing craft with an M4 Sherman tank. Works better than trying to make the tank float.
Photo #3 is a Panther Tank and Flak panzer Mk IV. Infantry would not want to run into that.
Last are beach obstacles and other scenery pieces. The large green piece in the background is a pillbox.
The set seems like more of a Normandy D-Day set but close enough.
What an exciting vintage WW2 set, the tanks & cross obstacles are super cool
