      Hi Roger:
"B" typically stands for Baccarat. You can read more about paperweights here:

Thanks Belltown,,,,,,,,If only that were the answer,,,,,Unfortunately the "B" could be for Jim Brown who worked at the Perthshire factory in Scotland, or for the year 1969-70, but I am afraid that it is of Scottish origin ! If it does turn out to be Baccarat I will take another long cruise,,,,,,,Thanks for your comments I do appreciate any and all thoughts. Roger in BSAS

      Good Afternoon Roger

I have found the most wonderful website for glass signitures and hall marks that
you may log onto as a quest.
Please check your items ( you may need a magniying glass) and compare.
It has proved invaluable for me with obscure pieces.
      It is glassmarks lexikon.
      Good Luck

Is that a black B in a white cane? Ray Banford used a similar cane from the 80's on but I don't know if he made ink/perfume bottles and it does have an english/scottish look to it. I also went through Dictionary of Paperweight Signature Canes but found nothing specific. Enjoy them anyway.

Hi there, Iknow its a long while ago but just a comment on the inkwell with the B cane, the bottle shape, cane formation and colours are rather Bacchus.

PERTHSHIRE PAPERWEIGHTS CRIEFF SCOTLAND. 1970 was signed with a "B" in the glass. Dave
