I have recently found 5 of these oval swirl snack? or salad? plates, because I adore the set of white handled soup bowls I have by AH, of a similar era. *These plates are 8"across the widest part.*
Just for peace of mind, I thought it'd be a good idea to check if they were valuable (like the Corning ware or Pyrex the MCM obsessed hipsters are spending stacks of cash on right now) before I used them.
What I found was a ton of the pattern in various forms, dinner plates, cups and saucers, all of these round, and a few of the 13" oval platters that bear a similar number on the back, but NOWHERE can I find any examples of the plates I have here.
Not on replacements.com, worthopedia, (I don't have a subscription, but you can always find an example in the photos and truncated listings.) Or any online source I could think of.
My question is this: Are these at all special because of their scarcity? Or is their value in keeping with the other round pieces I see online? If they're super collectible, I don't want to use them, but if they're nothing special, then in the cupboard they go!!
I appreciate any information ya'll might be willing to share.
Thanks in advance!!

@Tallcakes, I think you are right, but I don't know if I'm being stupid to use them or what!! Appreciate your help, friend!
