These two are (not quite sequential) serial numbers 2101 and 2105 of the MINIMUS series offered by Radio Shack (a division of Tandy Corporation) in the 1980's or so. If I recall correctly there was an actual line of 'mini' stereo components then including speakers like these (in various exterior finishes) that while not really "highly rated" by audiophile-types were nonetheless a commercial success, at least the speakers anyway, being rather popular sellers at a good price point that found their way into all kinds of places beyond the Radio Shack store.
This pair is real walnut veneer that now could use a good cleaning and some furniture polish, the grilles are likewise dusty but pretty much intact. Their speaker drivers also appear undamaged with still-good surrounds on their woofers. :-) :-) :-) Like the Infinity speakers shown yesterday I haven't had a chance to hook them up to anything to check their functionality, but am pretty sure they will work when I do. (since if not, they would have been thrown out years ago?!)
