My wife and I purchased a late 1800's Victorian home and I happen to be working in the attic when I found these two old photographs. Just interested in what anyone has to say about them or how to preserve them.

I love Laurel & Hardy! I used to go home at 10:30 pm as a teenager on Saturday night to watch L & H! I would frame them for sure!!!

The right one is a famous film clip from the 1931 silent movie "City Lights" and that's Virginia Cherrill and Charlies Chaplin (Sir Charles Spencer Chaplin).

The other is a well-known photo of Stan Laurel (1890–1965) and Oliver Hardy (1892–1957), known as the comedy team "Laurel and Hardy."

Photographs should be stored in a cool, dry environment. Paper enclosures should be acid- and lignin-free and there are many types of sleeves. You can find these at a camera store or search online for photography sleeves or glassine sleeves.
