Any chance that somebody might be so kind to tell us all what "waistcoat balls" actually ARE?? All I can guess is something akin to buttons for whatever a 'waistcoat' is (I believe a now way out-of-fashion kind of vest??) and the googles are absolutely no help whatsoever... <grrr>
They are "Ball" shaped buttons used in Waistcoat's from the 1800's on. They can be glass, agate, metal, etc. I collect mainly glass and agate. They come in different forms(domed, flat, etc.), but are mainly material set in/on metal. Hope this helps and thanks for the question.
