Hello. This was my grandmother's. Over the years we've made half-hearted attempts to identify it but haven't been especially successful. It has no markings on it that we've been able to find & it has been re-upholstered. Other than that, we're not aware of any alterations or modifications. I'd be grateful for any thoughts or ideas anyone might have. Thanks!

It looks like it may have had its origins in the 1950's to 1960's. There appears to be no style linked to it. A lot of makers put their own spin on the way they made their furniture. Also you have to take into account that most furniture manufacturers left absolutely no records of their company. Possibly your city has some records like ads in their archive room. You don't mention where you are from, so many cities had some manufacturers at one time or another.

Thanks, I appreciate it. We don't have any idea where it might have been made. She lived in southern NJ but both she and my grandfather traveled quite a bit. I remember it being in her home in the 60's when I lived in NJ too.
