    Hi I was wanting to see if anyone can tell me what this is exactly. I have looked all over the net and here and cant seem to find this one, I have seen alot like it though, it has some little stones around the edges also unknown what they are and stamp on back I cant really make out, If anyone can help it would be much appreciated Thanks

      From what I can see, the little stones are marcasites. The stamp is probably '800' for the fineness of the silver. Dates to 1940s/50s.

      The cameo is molded resin, not carved shell. The little squared off wings are usually associated with Psyche, although I'm not sure that was the idea here.
