This cast iron Japanese trivet (nabeshiki) is 4.5" square and .25" high. It has the mark of the Roji foundry. This is the trivet which came with my last tetsu kyusu post. I believe that this is a custom, hand made trivet. It is very thin, thinner than any other trivet that I have seen. The bottom is a well finished as the top. There are a few grind/file marks on the edges which I found a bit disappointing as the attention to detail on the teapot is exceptional. That being said, I still felt that it is special enough to deserve its own post.
