Just found this pair of majolica figurines, folk dancers, 11" tall. Wow beautiful color and detail. Both are marked 608 (incised) and 17 (brown underglaze). What do you think? ... made in Germany? I have no clue what national costume they're wearing ... I've been looking at a lot of European countries' costumes but haven't found a close match yet. Wonder how old these pieces are, maybe late 1800s? Welcome your comments! Thanks!
