The little corner of the rust garden by the steps continues to grow bit by bit, including a few things that technically don't rust.

The chunk of white quartz stone here in pic 1 (at the bottom of the clay tile in pic 2) isn't terribly unusual to have been found around here, in fact all the various sized similar chunks I've used to help cover the dirt are just 'rocks' picked up off the ground somewhere (anywhere) nearby, wherever they ended up, only because they're generally chunks of white quartz I can use in my garden. This is "The Natural State" -- the stuff literally comes out of the ground around us, naturally. ;-) :-)

Anyway, what I didn't notice about this particular rock until very recently -- this one includes at least two nice big quartz *crystals* showing from within it -- the pointy end of one is seen at the upper LH of the pic, and another is partially visible near the RH center of the pic. Now that side of the rock will remain oriented up -- COOL!!! :-)

Pic 2 also shows a few more additions to the decor. The five Coca-Cola bottles shown recently snuck in joining other assorted glass, and a freshly street-found (expired) AR license tag got a little corner to lean in. In the foreground and pic 3 are two more 'souvenirs' brought home from my recent TN vacation trip -- yet one more small scrap of re-bar and a long and rusty masonry drill bit, both picked up off the ground under/behind the vacation-rental "cabin" we occupied while there.

A fine rock of some sort. I collect rocks but can't remember what they are.

      Nice rock. Could be crystal?
