This ankh measures 2-1/8" long. Universally gray tarnished when found, it did respond to a toothbrush and some silver polish, at least to what we see here. It has a textured surface front and back (pic 3 is the back) with kind of a seam (?) all the way around it (pic 4) making me think it is a cast piece. I don't really think it is 'fine silver' since it is completely unmarked but it is too heavy to be aluminum, maybe nickel silver or some other alloy, probably not plated.
The next time I'm at a craft store kinda place, I guess I should look for a suitable lanyard cord or chain to hold it, then maybe I can wear it or hang it from my rearview mirror, or something??
What is pic 4?
Pic 4 is my attempt at a view of its edge, hopefully to show the 'molding seam'...?
Ok. I’m taking your word for it!
It is leaning sideways against a black ballpoint pen in pic 4, mebbe that's what's throwing you off?
Ahhhh, now I see it clearly!
