Late 1940s Trifari brooch. I had this one for ages. I tried to sell it once but the Italian customs sent it back for some reason. Can't tell you why as the earrings in the packages went to the buyer. But I digress, that was eBay a long time ago. Since it came back, I felt I should not sell it. Maybe someday I'll wear it. The patent is 149,584 dated April 13, 1948 and attributed to Alfred Philippe.
Thanks for stopping by.
Classic Trifari Philippe, pure elegance. Lovely accented oval stones, I have a similar (not identical) 40s Philippe design with teal stones. Home run Maureen!
Hi Jenni, Thanks for the lovely comment. Your collection is so fabulous, the brooches you've posted are just outstanding. I have one similar to one of yours. Our taste seems to run parallel.
Also thanks for the love to

Humble thanks Maureen & ditto for yours, always super gorgeous :)
well.. since it came back to you it was meant to be yours, too bad the earrings were separated...at last the brooch alone stops the show....lovely
