These 2 vases have a very similar shape. I assume that the difference is related to the optical design of the second vase. The dimensions are 21.3 x 14.5 cm and 22 x 14 cm. The first vase is marked semicircular Czechoslovakia and the second vase Czecho Slovakia (two words below each other). The first vase called "Threaded" was, in my opinion, made by Ernst Steinwald & Co. This decor appears in shapes that are known in Steinwald's decors. For the second vase (decor as Loetz Ausf. 142), I originally thought it could be Kralik, but now I'm leaning towards ES&C again. Unfortunately, I do not know more shapes with this decor. In my opinion, the difference in the marking Czechoslovakia cannot be used for identification.

Here is one of Steinwald's shapes:

And here are other Steinwald's decors in this shape:

I really like the decor on the second vase; it is very subtle and elegant. It reminds me of some of the late Loetz pieces, too!
Yes, there is a resemblance to one Lotz decor from the 1930s and also to Ausf. 142. (possibly also with an unidentified Ausf., which resembles Ausf. 142). But it's not Loetz.
Yes, I agree it isn't Loetz. They are a beautiful pair though!
Ales, did you see the cobalt threaded vase on Ebay right now? Same decor as the red one; sadly it has a small chip, but if you would like to see it for a shape study, search 'Czech Signed COBALT BLUE Spaghetti Drizzle' to see it.
Thank you very much Michelle.
