Grandad's Clock

krysciobrad posted a clock the other day and I thought wow the clock face looks just like that of my Grandfather's clock so I went and dug it out and although the face is very similar there is differences in the exact site of the winder holes and the numbers although the same script have subtle differences. Apparently my Grandfather brought the mechanism and built the case (cabinet making was his hobby). I haven't hung his clock in my house yet but it will happen so it can keep the grandfather clock (almost as tall as my ceiling and the granddaughter clock company. Can't wait to have them all striking although her indoors will not be impressed will have to make sure that piece of Swedish glass is on the top shelf ! :)
