Vaseline Glass

I bought this item recently at an online auction with a number of clear glass items and was surprised to find that it was larger than I expected. It is 8” long, 6” wide at the back and 4.5” wide at the front. The button pattern is the spokes on the wheels as well.

It’s a lovely piece and I would appreciate any help in identifying it.
