Hawaiian salads in summer can include some pretty awesome fresh fruits off the trees like Mangoes and even fresh Sugar Loaf (white) pineapple slices. Pretty nice meals for us old folks! I make these for my girlfriend of 57 years and try to add a little variation so she doesn’t get bored of me.

      You’ve got a talent….that looks refreshing!
A Hawaiian favorite of mine, if you haven’t already tried it is: slice a papaya in half, scoop out and discard the seeds, lay a wedge of lemon in the cavity the seeds were in. Serve. Squeeze the lemon to make a puddle of juice in the papaya. With every spoonful of papaya, it gets coated with lemon juice. So delicious!!
For variety, put a scoop of tuna salad in the papaya along with the lemon wedge. There’s something about the lemon juice on papaya that’s special.

What a lucky lady….I don’t think she going to get tired of you!!
