Here is a piece of a red shirt and towel that was owned and worn and used by John Lennon on the set of The Beatles first film, "A Hard Day's Night". These items come from the collection of John O' Gorman. He was the head of the make-up department at the studio. He's pictured here getting Lennon ready for the concert sequence that ends the film. The movie was filmed between March 2-April 24, 1964. It was released in the US on August 11, 1964....and became a smash hit...and is considered by many critics to be the best rock 'n' roll movie ever made!
Out of curiosity, how big is this entire piece?
Hey Anything...The card that has the shirt & towel piece is appox. 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches. Both the Lennon and the McCartney pieces are the same size!
