Tagless Dodgers jersey

I found this jersey at an estate sale a few weeks ago. It is scratchy like wool and the seams look professional. It has little sewn eyelet vents under the arms. There is absolutely no tag or other identifiable information other than "Dodgers 42". I am not delusional; I know it isn't Jackie Robinson's actual jersey, but I am interested in where it came from and when. Also, should I leave or clean the schmutz? It looks like the result of poor storage and/or poor laundering, but who am I to know? LOL Thanks!
