ll bean knife I inherited from my Great Grandfather. Avid outdoorsman he was, I believe he is the one responsible for my love of the woods and the desire and enjoyment of putting wild game on the table for my family. Yes it could use a cleaning!!

Knice Knife, but I’ll bet it did Not come from L.L. Bean co.

LL Bean has sold, and still do, sell private label knives with the LL Bean logo. This includes manufacturers such as: Kabar, Wenger, Gerber, Buck, Seki, Schrade, Victornix, etc.

These don't come up for sale very often but when they do they command top dollar in good clean condition. Regardless of who made it, it has the LL Bean branding and that is what sells them.

fhrjr2, so are you telling me I might be sitting on a big pay day????? personally I’m clueless to the value but I’m sure it’s value is in the ll bean name stamped on it compared to the quality of the knife as you stated.

Not at all. I said ones in GOOD, CLEAN condition generally command top dollar. The one you have here is in less than pristine condition. Takes some searching to find a sold item for pricing but they are out there.

Congcu The one you are showing a link for was $107.00 last week but didn't sell. They are a bit unusual but to the right person they will sell.

New listing today on eBay for RARE L. L. BEAN BIRD HUNTER POCKET KNIFE .
      Asking $89.99.

Yes it is new because last weeks ad expired. They lowered the price and relisted it.
    10. Congcu, 3 years ago
I understood that the ad was a relisted item.
