    The person I bought this brass item from, told me that it might of been used by Germany in World War II. Any assistance on identifying this item would be greatly appreciated.

      What are the dimensions?

      Length of the cylinder is 145 mm. Cylinder diameter is 30 mm. The outer caps is 35mm by 15mm.
