Got up early this morning and went to Louisville, Kentucky to the Street Rod Nationals and managed to come home with a few collectibles. The Standard Oil neon sign is a re-pop and so is the Gas Station lady attendant sign, but the 1950’s Coca-Cola cigar thermometer and the Piedmont tobacco double sided porcelain sign folding chair are both original. I like to mix in a few new items in the collection. A lot of beautiful vehicles to look at today. I don’t believe there’s any way you can see all the cars and trucks that are there. It’s just an incredible show but it seems like the swap meet area is getting smaller and smaller with less original things. Still had a great time with friends.

Excellent swap meet finds to add to your awesome collection. I am totally impressed with the illuminated Standard Oil man, so cool
wonderful collection you have going on ,..Michael
Yep it’s getting harder and harder to find original old gas and oil signs. Lots of reproduction signs out there. For the person wanting to decorate their game room it’s the inexpensive way to decorate. For the old pickers it just makes it a bit more challenging for sure.
Coke1234 I agree with you 100%. There were only a few gas pumps and a few signs at the swap meet area yesterday. I managed to find that Coke cigar thermometer and the original Piedmont chair. Slim pickens my friend, love your Coke finds!!!
