I have a 1969p. Mint set in full, unopened, cello. This pack contains an S. Mint mark on the jefferson. Has anyone heard of this type of thing happening before. Possibly the philly did not produce any Nickels in '69 so they all had S mints that year?

Coin week says no nickles were struck in Philly in 69 or 70

I only collect coins because I love doing that. If I only collected to " stumble upon " I probably would not collect. I collect Canadian coins and I don't even mark my coins which have a variance of which there can be many. Usually the price can be only a few dollars here and there, and I would rather shoot myself than worry if I am looking at something valuable !~

I'm kind of like PhilDMorris - except I prefer investing in solid silver coins, ingots or anything .999. I like a sure thing.
