This 2 1-2" stylized floral motif brooch has a 1" faux lapis center stone held with fishtail prongs, in a silverplated setting. With pair of 1 1-2" matching clip earrings (one has broken clip), all marked Napier on back. From 1968, the faux lapis pendant from this set pictured & described in book The Napier Co, Defining 20th Century American Jewelry by M. Lewis

It really has that 1968 look down to the T. The fishtail prongs are a nice touch and the ad showing the possibilities is a bonus cracker ! I love the ad to see the whole set and particularly that fine necklace. You have a winner here, baby !~

Phil it's so true, the spirit of 1968 is in this design - op art, flower power, the modern scene, and how great would this jewelry have looked with a boho caftan! From that huge Napier book I had so much fun searching for many of their classic pieces that I found for my collection, these lapis on silverplate jewels are now so rare I was lucky to score them yrs ago. Thanks for your always positive great praise & true admiration for this time capsule of 60s jewelry

Karen isn't this a cool set, those big blue lapis stones have a subtle grainy pattern that was really enhanced in sunlight (pics 2 & 3) and in the silver setting I would call them quite 'groovy' lol! Sixties mod definitely describes these, I can also picture them worn with those shiny white Italian minis of the day. Thank you my friend for your fab comment
