I have been researching this piece I bought in Zurich and with luck it proves o be that Emilio (Elia) Sala made and signed it
it seems he used more than one signature but the timing is correct as he lived 1864 to 1920 and that had him in his prime during Art Nouveau period
would love to hear from any Art Nouveau experts out there
