Noticed when looking for a category for the testers that there was a category for "S-K Tools". I like good quality tools and S.K where one of the best (not too sure about the newer stuff). I like to work on my own scooters and other things and have a pretty well stocked up garage which if I be honest like a lot of things has got out of hand. Does anyone really need 40+ socket sets....but "heh they are all different and look how they made these ones, look at how this ratchet works"..... anyway I have got several old S.K 1/2" drive socket sets, they all seemed to come in a toolbox and saw this one on TM and it was cheap so brought it. The company I work for has 70 branches in NZ and the seller didn't want to freight but lived around the corner from one of our branches so I got them to drop it off and the good guys at the branch to forward to me. I looked at my work account the next day and was a bit surprised at the freight cost so went to inward goods to see what had turned up and what a surprise this one was nearly twice the size of a 1/2" set box. As you can see it has 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" they are all in fantastic condition and all but the 3/8" set have the old knurled base which dates them to the mid 40s. I was best pleased. :)
Nice find ! The husband has lots of socket sets too. Some large enough to build a ship! The box is my favorite & that it is all Made in USA !
I heartily agree -- one can never argue much with the idea of MORE GOOD TOOLS . . ??? <lolol> (besides, "need" is a relative term now, ain't it?!)
No such thing as too many tools.
I Too Love OLD S-K, and have Many in My Collection. Very Nice!!
