      What are the dimensions?
Pic 3 has an Egyptian cartouche appearance but you probably already know that.

Can u provide a side view? In pic 2, are we seeing 3 trays folded out from the item?

yes thats right it folds out. whole thing stands about 11.5inches / 28cm with the circle tray piece being 8" / 20cm across. That mark i believe would be the artists 'signature' . It is exactly the same item as the Jean Cocteau one with the same markings on the base. Just a different design 'painted' on.

An Egyptian cartouche contains a name.
The 2 trays are so identical in the way they are made and in the general style.
The tray in pic 4 looks like Egyptian figures and it is signed in English by the artist.
The tray in pic1, is signed or identified by a name in an Egyptian cartouche…..I wonder why the artist would do that?
Perhaps they were going thru an Egyptian phase and decided to sign in that fashion.
Perhaps the artist toured Egypt and was inspired….
Maybe research for the complete works of that artist will help. Or try to find a translation of the cartouche.
Keep us posted on your progress. I like the trays!

They are the same item i believe made at the same factory but obviously had some sort of colab with artists from the time. maybe my artist disappeared into the mist and never made fame.

      You could be correct.
Maybe there’s some language app that translates Egyptian hieroglyphics to English.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you.
No matter how long it takes to figure out your answer, be sure to update this post because I’ll be watching for it.
