Finally! A green peloton glass vase by A. Ruckl. In a shape that is also available in many 1920s Ruckl Art Deco Decors. 1of2

It's always delightful when you can finally acquire an important piece which not only adds to your Czech glass collection, but also helps in the accreditation process due to decor, color, glass application, and shape.

My red and orange glass collection is numerous in shapes, and this vase has been produced in the peloton decor in red, orange and green. Also this shape was used with other Ruckl decors which are frequently seen on the resale markets. This vase version is 10 inches high. Base shows a partial oval mark with Made In Czechoslovakia inside it found on many Ruckl export items.

Jericho was a great help years ago when he shared thousands of his images he had collected into a Czech glass archive from the 20s-30s period. This vase shape was one he had in at least a dozen decors, which we felt had many indications to identify it as A. Ruckl & Sons.

Decided to do a 2 part post for these vases, there is so much documentation that would illustrate my posts very well.
