Love the color blue
So it's spring here and our local native pigeons have got the strut on, a bit like this.
The blue is gorgeous!
That is one fancy bird, right down to his fanned tail and his bright blue! I adore his pose- very showy and proud, he looks as though he’s desperate to show off and possibly marching around being the boss! Very unusual piece and design
Looks like the colours change intensity on the thicker part of this pigeon, a very proud fellow he is !~
Beautiful blue satin piece!
love the color.......
beautiful! Westmoreland Glass wasn't too far from me! I am in Westmoreland County!
To thank you all for the love

Thank you NaVi for your lovely compliment, I love this intense blue as well it's a beautiful shade
Lol Karen this pigeon is definitely strutting, he looks like quite a show off! I never knew about this variety of pigeon except it fascinates vintage glassmakers, so I found out there really are puff-bellied pigeons called pouters although not in this striking blue :) You are lucky being in Spring, we are at the tail end of a hot sticky summer here & can't wait for the autumn cooldown. Thanks for your always fabulous comment
Lauren this pigeon is definitely leading the marching band, tummy first! Yes he's a fancy fella, my fave feature is that fan tail, almost shell shaped. Thank you for your awesome comment
Thanks Phil for noticing the shades of blue here, I do believe it is darker in the head & body area, as it varies being called blue satin mist to dark blue satin in my glass books. Wonderful comment & observ
MrsT I'm so glad you enjoyed this bright blue pigeon, he seems very proud in his stance as if to say thank you for your great praise
Thanks so much Rocky for your really nice comment about the color, it is such a cool blue that reminds me of the ocean on a clear summer day
Lucky you vintagelamp living in Westmoreland County, that must be a beautiful part of PA with all the inspiration it gave the glass co :) Thank you for your super comment
Many thanks vcal for the kind love and appreciation
Thank you Bruce for the thoughtful love for this puff bellied blue pigeon, very pleased that you liked him & always grateful for the kind support
