Not an official categorisation, just one of my own devising - I like to classify hand vases under 20 cm as being "small".
Photo 1 shows a selection that all came from the same mould, but have been finished in various ways, such as top rims & decoration. There is some height variation, too - the green bottle & white vase with a flanged top rim measure 15.5 cm & 14.3 cm respectively, while the blue, opalescent white, & amber vases with crimped tops measure 12.8 cm tall. The green bottle also has some rather worn Coralene decoration.
Photo 2 - It's clear that these vases were all from the same maker, but there are small variations in height & thickness. Generally, this type of hand vase measures between 15 - 15.5 cm tall. The white pair at the back are unusual because they are a matched left & right pair. The custard vase front left has an excellent green glow under UV light.
Photo 3 - More from the same maker as the preceding vases, with more elaborate decoration. The vase on the right has a ruby bead set into the ring - most unusual.
Photo 4 - The same vase again in opaque cobalt & clear ultramarine blue.
My hand vase is feeling very lonely. Fantastic collection!
Today I dug out my vase which is similar to yours, vintagelamp, so soon it will have an online "buddy" when I post it...
