Not really earrings or at least I *hope* not as they'd certainly be amongst the most dull and boring style ever made -- rather I'd suppose they used to be glued to a pair of 'something else-es' to be hidden behind while clipped to somebody's ear lobes.

ANYBODY GOT A CLUE what forzactly that 'something else' would have been -- or would these in fact be 'generic' backs used on all sorts of TRIFARI designs? I'd guess the latter but certainly don't *know* that...???

These were the only marked, and only pair, of a small handful of assorted earring backs and parts found orphaned in the estate box. TRIFARI must have used some bad glue that day at the factory...??

Someone might have pulled those off so the could then glue on posts for pierced ears…..I’ve been known to do such a thing myself.
