What can you tell me about these. Are they very rare ? I picked these up on market place a few days ago. I think maybe the dresser trunk was made by Homer Young the other one I have no idea. About how old are they. Do you know if there is a club of people collecting these? Any help would be great. Thanks in advance for any reply!

I love trunks. From what I have read or been told: the older trunks are the camelback or hump back trunks. The more pronounced the hump the older it is. These were made to shed water. As time went on most train stations had covered areas so trunks evolved into flat top trunk. In all my travels I have never seen one that opens up with multiple trays. I would imagine that one is rare.
