Here's another one of my 'gray boxes' -- this one is a "Safety Switch" by "General Switch Corp. of Brooklyn 11 N.Y., U.S.A." Its electrical specs (and that address) are on a paper label inside its cover. This one might be missing parts, as it looks like sockets for screw in fuses at least *could* have existed on either side below the switch mechanism itself. I don't know offhand why they would have been removed unless the switch was modified for some kind of different electrical switching task than what it was intended for, or perhaps just dis-assembled a little bit too far when it was removed from whatever it used to be wired to -- it was already a 'loose item' when I got it, so I don't know anything about how it was used.
