    Russian tanker padded cotton helmet & gasmask [the tanker helmet was found inside an Iraqi tank in 2003]

    The Soviet MM1 Gas Mask is unlike most other Soviet era gas masks. This mask used a harness allowing the wearer to use a radio headset on his exposed ears. These kits were issued to tank commanders and radio operators.

      very nice grouping battlegear ,i watched the beginning of "the beast " and noted a similar look to your helmet/gassie combo ,can i ask is there a poct size and date stamp present on the rear flap ,thanks james

      Yes, it's a Poct - 2 and with a faded 1980's date
