This is the ultimate model from the Aurora Prehistoric Scenes series. All the other figures had a base that fit with the others. But Tyrannosaurus did not due to the size. It is 3 feet long not counting all the various curves. Anyway the box cover was supposed to be used as a background. The figure is snap together and very well articulated. The head, jaws, legs, arms and tail all move. The tail is articulated at several points. This model is not quite fitting together as well as it should so I will need to glue it together but I will make sure the moving parts can still move. I have a later Monogram version painted so I will leave this unpainted. It was designed that way with the white teeth and claws.
This has the front cover of the box which is suitable for framing. Also the instructions.
Sorry for all the dinosaurs but that is what I have been finding. Plus I found even more.
Wow, he's impressive, look at those teeth
No need to appologize for posting dinos, I love 'em. Didn't realize the models were that large.
I enjoy your Dinosaurs & the packaging & reading the info you provide. Bring on more! This one is great with the snap-on/glue together parts, which move.
Thank you very much Newfld. Even at that scale the teeth are huge.
Thank you very much Toyrebel. Yes it is a big model.
Thank you very much Alfie. I have a large supply of other dinos in this series. Plus others.
