Here is my latest addition. These are my friend's photo's.
In the first photo the brooch is next to a British Pound coin, as you can see its small. There is one person that comes into my mind, I would like to see if anybody comes up with the same name. It's been well made and I would say early Art and Crafts probably well over a hundred yrs old. There is enamel loss but I can live with that, the stone I would say Moonstone is mounted in a claw setting. Looking at the leaves I think the design maybe from the Oak tree.

    Many thanks for looking.

I think you have Jessie M. King in mind ;-)
I don't think it is her work (leaves here are holly when hers are more generic shape).
      Jewels1900 will say :-D

Ha, not holly leaves, you're right with oak, now I see acorns :-))

Hi Pascale, yep Jessie King I was thinking, your reading my mind. I did look online and didn’t see any Oak leaves unfortunately. Another name that comes to mind, Mary Thew, I’m not sure if she did enamel work but the coil work which you can see clearly from the back is typically of her work. Mary studied at the Glasgow School of Art for a short time and became friends with Jessie M King, interesting.

You're welcome. Eadie's work is more controlled, balanced & finer than the work of Thew. Also King's jewellery designs were made in a commercial workshop in Birmingham whereas Thew handmade her work in her home studio. So while they certainly may have influenced each tiger in terms of design - it's a very different production method.

Hi Jewels1900, thank you for your very interesting information. I don’t know why I didn’t pick on Kate Eadie, I have a wonderful necklace on CW of her’s. When you mentioned Kate Eadie I realized straight away that the brooch was her work, as I said above in my earlier comment, I’m pleased has punch.
