Any information on this piece here??

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of this piece here? I believe it has the initials JG ,but it's hard to tell for sure with my eye sight. I think it's real gold but not positive and the ruby's look like they possibly might be real as well. Any information would certainly be appreciated!!
