These together are/were a few of the parts remaining to be obtained so I can begin constructing my back patio RAILROAD CROSSING signal setup. ;-) ;-) They are very unique by the red crossbuck lettering and also (mostly) for the large 3-dimensioned YIELD sign also in red, for some reason this was once the preferred signage set of an Ohio railroad so were common there, while nearly all others everywhere else use the more ubiquitous black crossbuck letters and typical (if any) YIELD. These so-called "BUCKEYE CROSSINGS" still exist in Ohio, though their numbers are dwindling as railroads merge, reduce their ownership of rail lines, and all that stuff nowadays.

These were obtained by a fellow collector who had several sets available. Though he regarded this particular YIELD sign as less desirable than his other cleaner ones, I specifically wanted this one *because* of its graffiti -- much more realistic 'history' exhibited with it IMHO...?? <grin> They're shown here in the front yard after being unloaded from the truck this afternoon -- they will end up on a post in my backyard along with the lights, bell, and proper hardware to make up a complete and authentic working crossing signal setup. EVERY backyard needs one of those, doesn't it...??? <ROFLMAO>

Maybe someone will recognize their own graffiti and give you the story behind it. Love it!!
