This 3"W silvertone brooch shows a pair of fish 'parents' with watery blue faceted oval stone bodies, and a tiny fish baby traveling below, all with AB eyes & reef accents. By Monet with mark from the 1990s

It is a very happy fish grouping Phil, thank you for your fabulous and observant compliments. This appealed to me on so many levels - the silver & water blue are perfectly matched for a cool look, and I love the modernist artistic design. Monet should be proud of this one

Gorgeous little brooch, they remind me of shoals of herring or sardines which I (unfortunately for them!) find delicious! :P
The shade of the stones are really nice too, a lovely shade of blue grey(I love calm colours like that) and the added little tuft of weed or maybe coral is a really nice detail
nice eye candy.....

(and I should feel guilty as I love to eat most types of fish, even oysters which my husband hates :). Yes the pale shades of blue are definitely calming and I think they really complement the silver design here
