Here's one of the (near) freebies from my recent 'acquisitions' trip to Ohio -- 5 gallons of assorted mostly glass insulators!! I don't believe any are uncommon or rare in any way, but they'll all fit into my existing (mostly) little group just fine?!! :-) :-) :-)
Pic 1 is 12pcs HEMINGRAY 42, 2nd pic is a pair by WHITEHALL-TATUM, two (slightly different) ARMSTRONG, and a smaller green BROOKFIELD. Pic 3 is four different unmarked brown ceramic, one is chipped, and pic 4 is two more green ones also chipped/broken so I can't make out their names.
Not sure what I'll do with 'em, there are probably enough of the clear HEMINGRAY42's that I could clean them up and line one of my front windowsills with all of them -- both windowsills currently display a bunch of HEMINGRAY 9's along with a single 42 on each side. The chipped up ones will probably end up adding a little variety to the 'rust garden'...?? ;-) :-) :-)

Glass Insulators weren't common on the lines here, at least on the 11KV and below. All I have is a couple of porcelain ones from my time as a fault man with the local line company.
