I believe I purchased this king bed suite w light bridge, 2 pier cabinets attached. It reminds me of Campaign style; purchased in late 80’s. Can anyone comment if it’s considered good quality and style?

The bulk of Martinsville furniture seems to be mid century modern. Much sought after, well made and high end. Your suite is more of a traditional style I think, and I can't find as much of it as mcm. All round, Martinsville is a well thought of manufacturer that's still in business. You could contact them to ask about your suite in particular.
I have no idea what the story is, my friends had one quite a bit like what I saw in the 1990's. It looks good quality from what I see.
