I collected the black horse lamp with 24 karat gold covering parts of it. I was able to make out the words Le mieux written on it,If anyone can tell me more or suggest a site to find out more info I would appreciate it. also I have the yellow horse lamp i have no info on it. in the middle pics are cookie jars one has the artist name MCcoy USA on it I belive the boot cookie jar is MCcoy also. I love to see some more of the artist's work. I would also like to know what city the artist worked. I'm also on facebook. I really like this site I enjoy looking at all the collections. It is like going to a museum but without leaving your home. I do to go to the regular museum also. I will try to do a little research tonight.

I have 3 rearing stallion horses tv lamps just like your gold one. I believe you were misinformed about where the horse came from. It is a 24 caret gold painted horse made by Maddux of California in the 1950s. Hope you get this message

To be honest, there has not been an appraisal on these horses, at least as far ans my research on these goes. I bought one on ebay for $20.00 and another one for $60.00. Personally I think they should be sold at an enormous amount of money. It is from the 1950's and is 24 caret gold paint.
