This is a sign that spent years in the cellar of my father-in-law's childhood home. We recently pulled it out and wiped it off and this is what we have. I don't have any idea how old it really is. If anyone has an idea please let me know.
It is a metal sign and I believe it is porcelain coated.
I didn't measure it but it is about 4 feet tall and 12 to 14 inches wide.
As you can see there is some rust and some spots where the porcelain is is worn away or chipped off in a couple of spots.

Would love to know anything that anyone could tell us about it.

Your sign is from the standard oil company. They were typically seen in the 20's and early 30's. Very nice sign!
