looks like it would clean up quite well. Nice Improved Family with coffin top.

I recently purchased this exact model, at a garage sale for $10! It is same year, 1886 with serial # 7381587. It is in fairly good condition, no rust or major blemishes. The only things it needs is a new belt and a coat of varnish on the wood. Aside from replacing the belt, I plan to leave it as is. Do you happen to know the value of your machine? I have been trying to determine the value since I got it but I have gotten no where! Yours is the first picture of an 1886, coffin top, 2 drawer, treadle that I have been able to fined. Leading me to believe that our machines might be a bit more rare. I know nothing about this kind of stuff though!
