      That the Indian Motorcycle reel being made for or by the Indian Motorcycle Co. is a myth.

      See: Old Reel Collectors Association {ORCA/reels/org}

      The reel was made by the Bronson Reel Co. of Bronson, Michigan and according to Lawsons Price Guide To Old Fishing Reels, 3rd ed. 2001. the reel is listed at $20.00

      indian reels were not made by bronson,they were made by montague with indian motorcycles request,hey old reels,you cannot put that indian script on anything without there permission,these reels were given out by dealers in us and canada from 11926 to 1930,they made 5 differant sizes because of complaints about the first year being so small,i sold one with the dealers rod,9 foot fly,to wheels threw time motorcycle museum for 550.00 fish that friend
