This table was given to us many years ago (probably the 1970's) by a friend who was clearing out his grandmother's home. We also have two upholstered straight chairs that go very well with it. The tabletop shows some wear but there is no significant damage anywhere. Could someone, please, tell me what this is and how much it might be worth? Thank you.

Hi ~ You posted to someone who has a table similar to yours. Your table is very similar to mine, but mine is way more ornate. Both my grandmother's lived to be almost 100 years old and my mom lived to be 80. I'm 61 and I remember it in photos way before I was born. There is a sticker on the bottom that got ruined when the person refinished it. All that is left on it that I can read is: ??????n Chair Company, Indiana. My Grandparents lived in Cleveland, Ohio and I know one of my Great - Great - Great - Grandfather's owned a furniture store too: Robert Mitchell Furniture Company. I think it was in Kentucky though. I will be calling my aunt in Ohio to see what I can find out about our table.

Feel free to email me and I will send you photos of the table & label that I have.

Also there is an Antique Store in Whittier, CA that has someone in there selling one just like yours for $225.00 (on sale). The name of the store is: King Richard's Worldest Largest Antique Store. It's on Whittier Blvd.
