There's nothing like *truth in labeling*, is there?? <lol> This one isn't truly all that vintage (sorry, bad pun!) as I got it brand new (and full) about 10yrs or so probably, when I had a part time job at a liquor store. Kept the bottle for the "fun factor" after it was consumed, if memory serves it really wasn't 'bad' at all, perfectly drinkable stuff. The back label is also shown with its info including a website, so I suppose anybody that's curious can find out more about it than I ever bothered to do...? ;-) :-)
>Lol< Vin Ordinaire, cheap red wine…..these were honest people!
Glad you noticed that Watchsearcher -- I agree!! :-) :-) :-)
Thanks also to blunderbuss2, vetraio50, Alfie21 & fortapache for the quick <love it>s!!
Have you ever heard of the popular wine sold at Trader Joe’s ? It officially is branded from Charles Shaw winery, but nobody calls it by that….
It’s common “nickname” among the wine drinkers who just love it is “ Two-Buck Chuck”, reflecting its price of $2 per bottle. A lot of people buy it by the case.
I’m too technology illiterate to provide a link to that wine’s story, but it’s kind of interesting. It might be similar to the Vin Ordinaire brand.
