My 11 year old daughter found this in an old family cemetery. We haven't ever seen anything like this and we aren't sure what it is. I'm hoping someone can help us identify it. It is only an 1" high and about an 1 1/2" wide. It appears to be ceramic. It has the state of Illinois with the number 265 backwards like it is a stamp of some sort. How long it has been there, who knows, it could have been dropped decades ago or recently. Can anyone can help solve our mystery? Thank you!
